Field Measurement Services in Acoustics and Vibration

Field measurements and testing services for all aspects of acoustics and vibration. Proof of compliance and performance testing. Testing and commissioning works for all acoustical works. Witnessed testing, laboratory testing in accordance to ISO and British Standards test codes, mock-up tests, simulated rainfall tests for rainfall impact assessment. 

Testing services include but not limited to:

• Noise levels of plant and equipment (dBA, dB Linear, 1/1 octaves, 1/3 octaves, narrowband FFT analysis, NC and NR ratings)
• Sound insulation of facade, roofs, windows, partitions and other building elements (Sound Reduction Index Rw, Transmission Loss STC, FSTC)
• Partitions testing for movable acoustics partitions (Rw’, NIC, FSTC)
• Reverberation times (in octave and one-third octave bands)
• Environmental and traffic noise (overall dBA, Leq, and statistical analysis for L1, L5, L10, L50, L90, L99 values)
• Sound intensity measurements
• Sound power determination under engineering and field conditions
• Vibration measurements of plant and equipment under steady state and transient condition, run up and coast down monitoring for rotating machines
